How can we use it?
Imagine you’re an incoming freshman. One day you get a cool-looking CD in the mail. You pop it in your computer and suddenly you see the sights and sounds of Greek life on campus. You hear testimonials from upperclassmen who tell how becoming Greek was one of the best decisions they made. You hear what it means to learn responsibility and leadership. You hear how it’s possible to make friendships so close they last a lifetime.
You begin to understand in-take or recruitment,
and learn what questions to ask before
you pledge.
There’s even stuff on the CD for your parents. They hear from other parents how great it is to have children who are Greek. They even dispel some myths and ease fear your own parents had about you pledging. |

You can see that the CD is a powerful recruiting tool. In fact, you’ll find that your GreekDisc will be the single most important recruiting tool you’ll use. You can mail them to incoming freshmen and transfer students. You can leave them in the dorms or in the campus mailboxes.
You can even show it at the student activities fair and hand them out like candy to anyone who’s interested. |
